Hi seaweed.

over the past week ive been found your server and enjoyed playing on it. but last night i got banned by battle eye.

i noticed that quite a few others had been getting banned by it and some one mentioned that youve been having problems with it.

i dont know if ive picked up some gear or something thats caused it but i can assure you that i havent instelled anything.

its a shame i want my DMR back from omen :P

Hey man yeah we had a hacker problem for 2 nights don't know how much of it you saw but they managed to fuck the database up nicely inserting a new custom loadout for everyone before some bans.

Before I got the gotcha filters changed some users got banned for the pistols being inserted. I think I unbanned your guid some others after though have you tried logging in since? We may be switching to a whitelist soon, now the population count is rising the script kiddies are coming along too. I'm just still in the process of getting everything setup.

Also, Seaweed, on the same note, do you know how long it takes for the server to clean up bodies?

I was watching my victims body, and was going to let them get their gear back, but as they were coming back to get it, their body disappeared. It vanished after only about 10-15 minutes.

I was under the impression they hung around about until after server restart, I know in the past I've left bodies literally hours before going back to them.

We've had a few disappear after plane crashes and stuff on our server but not seen any vanish other than that. I do wonder what happens if the person who's body it is dies again? Does the original corpse disappear?

ive just tried logging on and it still says im baned :-(

which is weird because 2abe54d41ef345a6fa82592161ab3473 is my guid.

and its only this server.

Gotca and DART don't seem to be able to load my full banlist for me any more I'll email my host to see if it's duplicates in the shitty gotcha community list causing it to be to large. The server is down right now anyway I'm gonna try and get white listing implemented nicely with the forums and we'll see how things go then.

Thinking about backing the database up tomorrow and running Tavania or something this weekend for a change while I try and find time to get a better infrastructure setup.

You still having problems guys? Can't see bans for either of your guids, even white-listed them for you to save you needing to do it in your forum profiles.
