I could really use some upvotes here if you enjoy the server

Reddit is extremely helpful in gaining new signups I'd very much appreciate some help in spreading the word so we can get the player count back up.

I think you should include a screenshot of NEA when you mention custom buildings. That should be a big sell point for most people.

All the extra traffic from /r/dayzservers combined with the random links I've been sharing where ever I can really helped our traffic last week. I have seen server population up to 16 without even any SNM! members online which is encouraging. I welcome all our new signups and hope you continue enjoying the server.

I urge anyone who plays in the server and hasn't yet upvoted the link to do so, creating a reddit account takes seconds (as does creating an alternate account ;) ) You don't even need to give an email address and it helps us a lot.

Other than that the best thing you can do to help us gain logins is continue to share the server anywhere you can, reddit, gaming forums etc. The extra traffic really helps and most people hang around once they see the server in action provided it stays reasonably busy.

Thanks for the kind words guys the longer we manage to stay on that /r/dayzservers sub reddit page the better. We have had a lot of new signups from it already this week which is awesome.

If we do drop off the list I might make another post and spam here for up votes again if you guys don't mind. The main thing is to try and get a server event organised soon and onto the main /r/dayz reddit like last time. We had 5k+ views on that survivor games thread and like 150 new server signups many of whom still play today.

It's great seeing the server population back on the increase at the moment, any time you get a chance to link the site on reddit or another forum, or even just tell a friend through word of mouth it really help us out.

is it possible to remove the [UK] from the reddit post? might deter some of the US players. With all the awesome shit we have, once they join, they wont even care about their ping.

Unfortunately I can't edit titles but I won't put it in the next post I make

I've seen a fair few US ip's among the new users though which is good, hopefully they stick around and we find some more EU members who like playing late nights :)

Yeah, I get an average of 150-200, but I dont really notice/care.

Latency isn't a big deal in ARMA, I ping 30 and it still takes the game a second or so to realize when I've shot people. Indeed the original ZS server was in the states, I never noticed the extra 100ms there. Maybe one day we'll be big enough for both EU and US servers...

Next event is 5-man squad Survival Games. Unfortunately, there have been quite a few delays.
