| Post subject: | Squad Marker |
Im quite new to the server(and the game in fact) but am really enjoying it! I was just wondering if its possible to get some form of squad marker to indicate who is in your squad and where they are . Maybe something similar to how your team is displayed in wasteland? It was just a quick thought  Thanks

Some DayZ mods already have this "feature". Would be nice if we could somehow get it working in our server. Although it is kinda OP in a way to be able to see your squad-mates from miles(or Kms)away. Maybe if there was a way to make it so that the markers only show up if you're within 1-1.2k from your squad-mates, it might be a little less OP. That's the only time you would really need it anyway, to minimize instances of friendly-fire from snipers in your own squad. |

would be nice but i still killed limbless at 12m with a blue dot over his head. might help some people lol |

Wouldn't be possible without client downloads unfortunately which would mean everyone needing our files to join the server. You do however get green peripheral dots for players who are in your squad and within a certain distance (see the squad manager to make one) |
