Like I said the cool down time is almost irrelevant because of douches being douches.

I like the dayz blood bag mechanic, I like that you have to get a team mate or someone else to help you get back to 12k blood and I don't like the idea of removing this totally by giving a 12k heal to a "self" bloodbag. Even with a giant timer, squads would still just do it on themselves rather than having to move towards each other potentially exposing themselves.

I would need to do a lot of testing, trying to work around the various exploits etc to even get to a setup I was happy with before I began balancing the variables. Honestly with the new patch on the way it's not going to be much of a priority.

I will up the blood to 6k before the next server restart and lower the damage percentage and cool-down timers slightly, then I'm done with touching this mod until we are up and running properly on the new patch. I'm not even sure I like it even being in the server yet.

cant you apply a knockout? force it so no matter what you will be knocked out. you cant relog and shake a KO right?

i think it would be bad ass to spend 60 sec transfusing yourself and then get a random KO timer. thats why i would only do this in a very safe place away from zombies and away from players. more realistic.

instead of cutting yourself instantly, how about just making the player bleed? so you need to transfuse and bandage.

that would actually be ideal if you ask me. because you will need a bandage for a proper transfusion and a bandage wont take up a slot in your main inventory. is this possible?

so...60 sec transfusion timer + KO and no bandage needed - or - 60 sec tf timer + bandage (because u will cut yourself) and no KO timer.

and the normal 30 min cool down etc.

20% chance of losing 1500 blood doing it
60 second timer
5 minute cooldown

That's what I've set it to and I'll leave it at for now.

I'm not making any of my own code additions to this script at the moment, I don't have the time when I still have other bugs and additions to be fixing. Even simple additions require me to spend hours testing things, there's a new patch coming Monday anyway and this will be gone then.

ok...i was just suggesting some stuff and was hoping it was even possible.

i think requiring a bandage after transfusing, or you just bleed out is amazing.

seriously? if you want a pvp deathmatch go to another dayz server. please dont ruin that server with bloodbags and miniguns n shit. I like it here so much!
