Hiya, just a random thought: I would like to see banned players get set to 1HP and bleeding rather than just killing them in the database. This gives other players the chance to still get to the loot instead of it just disappearing. In case of combat loggers this only seems fair to me. Ofcourse this should not apply for hackers or anything and i am also aware of the downside that combatloggers might get their gear back when they just come in late at night after the ban is over but i have seen a lot of good loot beeing lost by people combat logging that would sorta belong to the player who almost killed the guy. What do you guys think? |

Remember we ban combat loggers for 24 hours, not really much point after that when they login again the person who originally shot them won't be there. |

actualy i am XD currently still in the area of the shortboy issue and i also managed to get the gear from zilvervis after you killed his character and he returned after almost 48 hrs ^^ but i see your point. Its not possible to make the body appear with the ban is it? cause that would definetly be the fairest solution |

Pretty much all of our combat logging bans take place after a player has already left. |

yeah players leaving is pretty much the point of the whole combat logging thing XD well to bad for the gear but i guess it cant be helped |

This was not related to this specific adventure shortboy but a general opinion. I shot a guy (not recently) that had an SVD camo in berezino from 400m and he combat logged, this is loot that would have helped me a lot since i was more or less a freshspawn but it was removed from the game. I am not complaining about it i just say i think it would be fairer the other way. |

When you have played long enough you stop caring about the "potential gear". You will normally find it within a few days after anyway, if you are looking for it. All that really matters is ensuring that those with intent to combat log and repeat their offense are kept out of the server. Unless something like this could be implemented with ease I don't really see this being worthwhile, especially since most of the time combat loggers wont have decent gear anyway. |
