Is it 20 teams like the last time or 24?

If there are still some spots avaliable i'd like to give it a try. My friend's nickname is "mYx" (he'll be registered within the next hour)

Hi Guys 'n Gals.
If there's a spot still open I'd like to team up with Frosty and join the game.

We are now full, there will more than likely be no shows though so people wanting to get in the reserves get your names down, make sure you have played in the main server.

I would like to take the third reserve slot. Was waiting all weekend for my partner from the last Survivor Games but he didn't show up. Would be nice to play by myself but wouldn't mind being teamed up with another lonewolf.

TS channel passwords will be given out at 7:30pm, server password shortly afterwards. If your comms are not active on our TS throughout the event you will be banned.

I will say this now, we are not tolerating any fucking around before the start. Listen to the admins do as you are told and be patient AND STAND STILL once teleported. I will just ban you without warning if you start running around and being impatient wasting all of our time whilst we set up. It always takes time for everyone to arrive and it goes a lot smoother if people aren't running around and acting like kids.

Feedback is very much appreciated from all who took part in the event, so we can continue to improve these and thanks for your patience at the start its always a bit of a ballache waiting for everyone to login. We placed a lot less tents than we had done in previous games, whilst it lead to some slower paced gameplay the crash sites proved very effective and people were sufficiently geared up by the end. I thought having 3rd person disabled greatly improved the gameplay.

Apologies for forgetting to disable map markers, and for also not knowing what timezone I live in :P

There's some twitch streams here for people who want to see

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCguZl1mD-E
http://www.twitch.tv/search?query=zeros ... ival&stp=1
http://www.twitch.tv/effett/b/437286142

Unfortunately I am still on the worlds worst internet connection and streaming is not an option for me anymore. Even uploading a youtube video takes me a ridiculous amount of time right now :(

For the next event we are looking for someone who can commentate on it using gcam, possibly stream it too provided we can put a big enough delay on the stream. Get in touch with me if you think you have the skills. So hopefully for the next one you can all enjoy the epic panning overhead shots that I have been for each event so far.

The event ran fine from what i saw, no lag at all considering the amount of players on the server which was nice, ammo for guns seemed slightly low but that only helped to make people think about there shots more which was good, my only feedback is that the Zeds damage seemed high, other than that it was alot of fun and thanks for hosting and adminning it again, i look forward to the next one :D

Hey,

Everything was awesome as previously. The 1st person only mode made the game more intense in my opinion, as it's not that easy to spot someone when everything is jumping around when you run.

My only ideas would be to differentiate the zones a bit. I don't know if the east coast is a must, or is it maybe just convenient due to large ammounts of small towns spread across the whole area.

Also maybe the first two stages of the event should not overlap as much, forcing players to be on the move more, resulting in more action and encounters.

Edit: typo

I was hesitant about using the North East again but it works a lot better than using NWAF and Stary in our experience. Chernarus is quite limiting in default form in terms of military loot but I am thinking about setting the next one up somewhere else on the map and using some custom buildings placed in the editor to mix things up a bit. I agree with you on the stages too, stage 1 and 2 were effectively the same, no teams really went far enough south to be affected by stage 2. I was also very surprised how many teams totally avoided Berizino again.

I was pleased with the custom crash site coordinates we spent time putting down before the event, there were over 50 in total to be randomly selected all of which were within the playing area. I think for the next one I will build on this, I am hopefully going to modify the crash sites so I can trigger one whenever I want from an admin menu onto my own coordinates for future events.

Ran smooth, no desync or lag issues for me. I had some trouble with framerates, when I logged on the main server prior to the games. Luckily, nothing of that kind during the game =)

The first person mode was great, especially in vehicles. I managed to get a good headache riding my bike around for ~25-30 mins tho :p

Hey, I participated in the Hardcore Survival GameZ and I can honestly say it was well put together and I really enjoyed it. If you decide to host anymore i'll be glad to help get players. My channel has 600 subs and I recorded it also.

as long as people dont assume you are sending in a chopper crash site to help anyone in particular.

the games on sunday were real fun. had some framerate issues at the start but other than that, good shit. we only got yelled at once!

I finished coding it earlier 8-) it uses my coordinates for the point of crash but the helicopters never hit it exactly, usually within a 300m radius though. It's there to induce action when there's people camping in an area or two teams are stuck without guns the rest of the crash sites I can fly in before the event starts or continue to use random positions like the last event.

Also it means I can use a crash site or two instead of tents for the start of the next games its gonna be epic.

Next up - Artillery
