Hey guys! We had a very funny firefight lately with MM I guess at the hill south of vybor, Vereznik. I´d like to grab some gear, place it at the hill one hour before the serverrestart and then let you guys have a go at us. Maybe even Bandits vs. Survivors and heros because i can hear the whining about humanity already... ^^ I´d invest some DMR and LMG´s for that, even with the prospect of loosing them with the restart. What do you think? |

There is a dayz mod: battle royale. Dunno if there are any servers left if there are probably US only, but this mod was sick. Hunger games in dayz. Played in couple of times, even won once. Check it out. Going back to the idea it might be cool but the winner should get safe escape in a heli maybe?;D Else after reset everyone with weapons left will go and try to kill him for the price. |

King of the Hill would be some good fun. I would quite like to try koth on cherno city hall. All players can only use shotguns. While we are on the topic, are you interested in getting some more events going with the high player count we have at the moment, Seaweed? I'd be happy to help out with planning/moderating/whatever :3 |

Yeah I know that but for that i had to change the server and thats not really a option for me. Let´s work with what we have. |

I really like to see such events on the server, because I created and held them on my old server in the past and I remember them to be a LOT of fun for the Admins and the rest of the server, though it will be quite a bit of work for the admins and smaller groups or solo players will have it very hard to participate successfully. But maybe you are too young to know: There is an AWESOME japanese movie called Battle Royale form 2000 which exactly has the concept played in the dayz mod you talked about. "The hunger games" is a mere copy of that. I advise you to watch the movie and have a great time! |

We´re getting offtopic here...  Okay so thats the plan for the fields:  Guess this is fairly simple, shoot at anyone you want in the 4x4 field, try to snipe the guys if your alone, loot as many shit as you can. Straight and simple. Anyone want to take part? |

We have organised survivor games in the past and they were great fun, sadly the last one got DDOS'd. It is some work for us but we don't mind doing it if people enjoy it. If the community wants it and comes up with some suggestion we can see what is possible and what is not. |

Actually Hunger Games and Battle Royal are very different and the only thing they have in common is that the contestants being dropped into an arena where they are expected to kill each-other which is an ancient concept from way before the invention of cinema. Anyway my suggestion is this: 10 people are chosen to survive in the harsh environment of skull-island: they are dropped onto the Island from a chopper/biplane with only 2 canteens ,matches, hunting knife and a pile of wood each and must survive to be the last remaining. On The Island itself they would find traps, zombie and stashes containing ancient yet deadly weaponary : Machettes, fireaxes, crowbars, lee einfield, winchester rifle, double barrelled shotgun, Colt .45 handgun , crossbow and of course the CZ 550. aside from melee weapons all weapons would have limited ammo to be found. Surrounding the Island territory are deadly game-masters that prevent the contestants from leaving and can set off hidden sachtel charges when things seem to stagnate too long. As the competition evolves to its mid point sponsors are allowed to give the game masters 2 items that would be passed to their contestant via boats drop points at the coast surrounding the island.(gun and clip counts as 2 items for example) |

How would that work actually? I never participated or spectated such an event. Would it work aside all statistics or just with the normal characters? If it is something like the Hunger Games normal gameplay would not work obviously because the goal wouldn't be to cooperate but to eliminate everyone. |

It would be on another server with a seperate database. Depending on what is necessary we can add buildings to the level / teleport people / spawn things in / .... |

You can also look through this subforum for other past events and i think there are videos about too, to get a better picture. It could be pretty cool to see some statistics for an event in the future. Total time alive in a survivor games could be cool. |

I played about 5 games on Battle Royal mod with Damp. Its action. Its panic. Its crazy. Theres players everywhere. Things say boom everywhere. It is good. Prob explains why dangerous man became family man. |
