I really like this layout, both on the forum and the homepage. I saw the old style for only a few hours though, since I just registered earlier this morning.

The front page looks brilliant.

those 4 boxes at the bottom will have relevant info in them as soon as we get content to put in there

any way the links could be changed from red on black? its a little difficult for me to read at times, i have to squint a bit

I miss the "First unread post" link that used to be at the top of a thread on the old layout. Made navigating the forums a tad easier IMO.

The green was very readable lastnight , though it seems to have changed to red with a green holdover this morning , the new site does look great though very snazzy

Any thoughts on having the "online"/"offline" image centered under username/over avatar? It might look shit but the idea looks good in my head.

It was only when you clicked on any given thread. The link would be @ the top right, in the same general area as the "Mark Topics Read" link is in the screenshot you provided.

Am I the only one who keeps having to login on the forum? Driving me crazy seems like almost every time I visit it's doing it.

yeah, you can solve that though, by typing your password wrong (assuming you're using the top bar to log in)...
you will now come to a second page, where you can tick a box to remain logged in...

Ah that might be it thanks, I'll have a play later and stick the tickbox into the top bar if that's the case

We need to swap the emoticons out too for ones with a dark bg like these maybe
