Hello!

Seaweed if it is OK for you i will advertise my brand new own gaming community.

We have a skilled coder, we have IT guys, we got ME :D

We got our own forum, page, dedicated root server.

Currently we are hosting a stock 1.8.3. vanilla dayZ server.

I think it will be stable and frequently maintained in about a week.

Further games will be discussed in near future.

EDIT, we ALMOST have ported our loved basebuilding to 183 ! The last steps are very difficult, but we can place flags and containers on our test server! :!:

I spen a lot of energy in TWC, i thought we (Mr.Jones, Mirsad and Me) could easily do the same or better work with our spent time.

Thats what we did in the last 1 1/2 weeks.

We still have LOTS OF THINGS TO FIX.

Even a stock vanilla dayZ server has broken bloodbags etc.... sucks like hell.

Right now we have implemented the scheduled restarts, a spawning customization which is pretty cool.

Next step will be: getting the forum started.

Sneak preview on things that are worked on, some are already workin:

-Bomb alerts and airstrikes in bigger cities. (possible once per cycle e.g. elektro ^^) The army wants the zeds stopped.

-smaller missions on the map

-roaming AI in normal playerskins, drivin around in UAZs and SUVs shootin on sight. They have 12000 hitpoints can get unconscious, bleed, bandage etc... already workin, but: infistar deletes the AI after few minutes....

-Basebuilding.................................... so fuckin hard. Dement has to change hundreds of codelines into 183 with some new orders that weren´t there in the past. Almost impsooible. Developers excluded lines. Looks like they destroyed BB at purpose.

-Dement wrote his own basebuilding "light", which is workin too, but the things wont get implemented in database, so they are gone after restart. Hes freakin out. I think he slept 15 hours in the past 10 days.

-and more things are planned


spawning rates will be adjusted to "ZS-Like"
no crosshair
no markers

we had full 24 day/night this sunday but it killed our playercount.

I suggest to test this or better next weekend ;)

EDIT:
By the way, 1.8.3 is pretty cool and starts with a sort of own included basebuidling.
Till now its only a 7 times upgradable wall. But it looks fantastic. Its permanent, but has no doors. So its useless except for a heliport. It needs lots of different new materials. Its not easy to build. Just want you to know ;)

Since basebuilding is so hard to fix why not try a different approach? we have been playing on shinys dayz with leveling system and other cool stuff.

Basically:

Take Epoch - delete everything thats not vanilla except basebuilding.

This would give you many more options and also the epoch basebuilding. Just delete the traders, vehicles you dont like etc.

you will have to delete all traders and stuff to keep it vanilla though.

It is possible to implement a system for base breakin as we had it on zerosurvival with the toolboxes. Shinys server also uses sledgehammers and etools and crowbars but that made the breakings sort of impossible.

Most negative point about epoch are the safes in my opinion.

Hey folks!

We have finished the basebuilding, including removing objects and workin stashes/tents.

We are able to add custom buildings and changing the materials to the 183 implemented ones.

We are able to add custom recipes to the crafting menue.

I really recommend to test our server. I think we are on a really good way ;)
