kevin already made it to the server :D

Updates:
COAST is now vanilla again!
MEDICAL loot is a tiny bit increased!
Weapons tiny bit lowered!
New hardware workin fine!

Hey ZS community,

me and my brother gave that new TWC server a try. They really seem to listen to request to improve the servers and i have to say - this is the server comin closest to the experience we've made on ZS. really enjoy it, although its missing some players and Mr Jones as his ppl already have huge bases - waiting to get busted. I actually like even more that they got some AI runnin around north and giving some more of a competition. id really like to see some of the old members there, need some help busting jones, though. i hope seaweed gives it a try and tells his honest opinion about it, cant really say how the programming differs from his old server, but id like to know if its on a good way.

I've tried it I didn't really like it I'm afraid, I don't think AI should be a part of DayZ at all. Maybe we'll pop on there again one day though just because it'd be fun to play with the old ZS players.

Agreed, AI sucks tbh. You have epoch if you want AI. And they just ruin the entire airfield fights, as they are like 30 AIs on nwaf all the time with mkmods. :P

Nice reen! I see the server improves. But still some things missing until its decent.
Are they gonna fix the zombies btw? zombies with nike air shoes running faster than you and even hit you from 50m distance with a headblow and insta bleeding/knock makes no sense :P
And not to mention the zombie count on the server. Theres like atleast 30+ zombies when you enter those blue door hangars at nwa on the server.

Seaweed are you and Ebert back to DayZ or still on CS?

The biggest issue we have on our current server is the redicuious skill drop of oponents. I am currently allive for 11 days (ok i did not play as much but still) and we could use competition =)

I would probably join one of your servers some time just to hang out or fight each other.

Eby is mostly playing Wildstar at the moment I think, he is meant to be buying a new PC soon so hopefully then we will see him back on other games (CS:GO included).

Honestly I have barely played any DayZ at all since closing ZeroSurvival. We played a couple of quick sessions to test some servers a few months back and that's literally been it. I am still very much addicted to CS:GO and I can't see that changing, but I do want to check out some of the changes both DayZSA and the mod have made since I last played them.

I saw your thread here this sounds like it could be fun. I'm sure myself and some of the other TS guys will be more than willing to take part if we can.

News update:

Jay made it happen:

He converted basebuilding to 1.8.2. the server is switching by the end of the month to latest update.
He recoded the whole thing. Cheers!
He is workin on over 30 new missions which should be very interesting.
AI will leave the Airfields then.
Road debris will be removed with new update.
Coast is free from barracks.

What else do we have to do to convince you guys!?

Whats the playercount like?

We like our current server but I am pretty certain that nothign lasts forever so if this one fails i might give it a shot.

Playercount was raising constantly till 1.8.2. came out. Since common players update immediately not much are joining now.
If we are ported to 182 im pretty sure this server is the only one with our used basebuilding in the mofuckin world :D
So im sure it will raise then. hopefully they are not updating in short distances again. But let me say: Jay is a very skilled coder and he will manage it.
At the moment we are lucky if the playercount hits 15. Mostly 5-10 with almost the same people :(
BUT: We all know that if there are 10+ players which we can easily handle when some ZS players would join , lots of other players will join too!!!
So we still could use your help here. But u might wait till 182 is live.
For now not many people around, that join 181 servers!

Tons of small fixes u might not even recognize.

Yo. Long time no see, ZeroSurvival.
Sorry to see you've shut the private hive down but congratulations to Seaweed for keeping it up as long as you did. Stellar work.

Why don't you guys all come play DayZero? It's basically ZeroSurvival without the base building and with better FPS. It's awesome.

Lots of big squads, very high skill levels, huge fights, best FPS of any DayZ derivative, new custom enterable buildings, 1st person and 3rd person servers, good admins, decent regular streamers, no pay2win donor shit, never see any hackers, no stupid map additions (but plenty of good ones)...come play!

p.s fuck Overpoch, come on guys, you're better than that

Its a huge win for us now, playercount is raising really fast. As the server is located in the US, we have like players on line 24 hours now. Peak after 2 Days: 20 People, at ca20h european time, this is great and is goin to be better.

ICD is now playin on TWC too. They might be biggest fraction with up to 5 players now. So beat them!

KR is now playin on TWC too. They might show up with some guys too makin ICD trouble!

MM-Investoren told me, they want to check out server again and maybe stay here then!

180 Players tracked via gametracker so far, 10 players is now standard mostly up to 20. Think it will continue to raise quickly!

ICD on TWC so join the party =)

Forgot how hard this stuff was -.- Eating, drinking, not getting killed by zombies, dodging FPs helicopter aaaaand damn im starving again.

But I am happy to have the AI missions, they can fill a gap if there ever is any with low player counts. Only got to one so far though as a little coast pickup errupted into a massive 3 hr 3 party fight at polana with ICD Simon and Benuar vs Kevin and Leon vs Granary Loaf, his helicopter and 3 of his guys on the ground.

Benuar murders Kevin
Leon murders Simon
Benuar murders Leon
One of the 2 sneaks up to Benuar and murders him
Simon dies again
Benuar gets a ride from Granary so he can go to bed
Granary hires Benuar as a mercenary as his guys dont seem to get anything done XD
Benuar kills Leon and Kevin and leaves with the good stuff =)

This is how I like my fights! To many people to have any overview, friendly rides after and an overall good environment.

Looking forward to more of those, MM get on and TS give it another shot.

Been playing on TWC server recently and this is what my opinion of it is.
The base building is good apart from the ability to build castles and the fact that if you break into a base then after a restart the item you broke will have respawned making it rather useless to even try with the 97/90% fail / lose toolbox chance.

player population is growing which is good to see and hopefully will bring more pvp but the player skill level isn't near ZS level.
Vehicles are abit easy to come by and there are atleast 5 helis on the map, which is abit too many for me.

Have been told by Benuar that Jonas built his base by duping and the admin was aware of it, yet no action was taken, his base is huge and not possible to break into.
Destroyed a bunch of stuff in a base and was told it was a bannable offense which is laughable, play epoch if you want an indestructable base.

The worst thing on the server was the fact that the admin was sat AFK in Polana factory, after shooting him in the head twice we walked up to him and he said he was in teamspeak speaking to people, we told him that what he is doing is affecting the server and shouldn't be done, he said we know nothing and we should watch our mouth else we will be banned.
Just my thoughts on the server, it has potential but has kind of been ruined for me due to the last bit.

I agree in many things here, although I had no contact with admin at all. Sad to hear tho.

In my opinion basebuilding is completly screwed up atm. Beginning from having options of basebuilding among other "roll" options, going through castle walls and finishing at the fact, that bases are insanely huge after 3 months of 3 players playing (while when I joined ZS, bases were so much smaller, and it had stable, quite big amount of players). Amount of some basebuilding supplies anyway is too big, and chance of breaking wall is too low.

I think the admins still don't understand at wall what we really want. A lot of work has been done (generaly server is now playable, in the beginning I couldnt even walk around their ridiculous map modifications), but there's still so much work to do... And it's not even about ingame, but about changing admins attidute so they can finally fully understand this community.

I'll just finish with the fact, that when I joined ZS it took me and my previous friends nicely over a week to setup a flagpole, 5 containers and 2 gates. These were conditions, where we really struggeled to do something, and this is where ZS-like experience starts: when solo gameplay is ridiculously difficult (which is right, there's no many Frankies/Chuck Norrises in this world), when you realise its better if you find your friends with who you share your base, and finally, when all of you start to search for your allies among other clans, which finally leads to huge war among the server.

That rule on TWC is rediculous. They say they encourage stealing and general banditry, but total destruction of a base is bannable. Its like you have to watch out. if a base contains 2 cars and 2 tents you have to choose what to destroy, cuz you have to leave something behind. Makes no sense in a game like dayz. It should be up to the player to choose either destroy everything or be nice leaving something behind.

About Jonas I took him for a legit player since playing on ZS. I was kinda shocked when I heared he duped that beast of a base he got atm.

That admin bullshit sound hillarious. You should talk to the chief admin. It just has to be one of the staff admin being a dick. Hopefully he would be removed or something.

Anyways. Server is improving. But it still lacks a few things. Still needs cleanup of odd placed buildings on NEAF and NWAF atleast.

5 helis I dont mind, means theres just more airborne noobs for MM to shoot down :)

Well yeah, thats the last time for me aswell then :D
Another server which had it player count also because of us, another one which will drop to 0.
Truly dissapointing Mr. Jones what i've seen in chat today and what I've been told. Wouldn't like to know that, and I wouldn't like to play with you anymore, have fun on your funny server, kill some more AIs...
