Hello, I am new to the server, and in fact new to the game all together ( I have been unable to connect to any server). Whenever I attempt to connect I get the message "bad version, rejected by server". I have installed everything up to date, the beta, the dayz patch, everything, and I still cannot connect, please help, I desperatly wish to play this game and am to the point of almost pulling my hair out. Please note that I am very uneducated when it comes to computers (it took me 2 hours to install the game lol). I installed manually with the .rar archive, I also installed the most recent patch of the game. I have also installed the beta patch, and downloaded the beta. I am honestly lost as to what I have done wrong.

Open dayz commander and make sure your arma version and dayz version are up to date. Click the install/update link at the top of dayz commander.

I think I know the problem your experienced

Sometimes with our host an ARMA bug causes it to say a pasword is required when one isn't. I've emailed dayz.st about this issue they have let me know a fix but it means assigning a new port and IP address to the server.

I will be making the changes later this week and emailing out the new server IP/Port to all our members so you can update your dayz commander bookmarks. In the mean time if you see "password required" just try again and rejoin and you'll get in...

I have the same problem, I use dayZ commander already, says everything is up to date, ive registered for the server on my pc with the same ip address etc, same in game name etc, yet i still get the "Bad version, server rejected connection" message everytime I try to join... how can I fix this, have I missed something?

We got those password messages all fixed sounds like you aren't running the latest arma beta patch for one reason or another. Try launching directly from steam to see if you can get in thay way, DayZ Commander can be screwy sometimes.

Also try looking for the Steam options in DayZ commander, there's also an option about replacing files with beta ones try ticking that I've had weird errors from those options before.

ahh yes, got it sorted out, It seems for some reason I did indeed have the wrong arma beta patch, even though it said "up to date" thanks for your help!

hello after server restart we can`t join the server (Wait for host)

dayz.st are having database issues at the moment, I'll keep an eye on it from work and get it started up as soon as the DB is available. They usually have it resolved pretty quickly when something goes tits up so hopefully its back soon!

Can't wait till we are on dedicated hosting and don't have problems like this

Hey man, i just joined ZS and i cannot connect to the server, i get on Wait for host, i click ok, recieve mission file and then it sends me to the main menu, do you know what that could be?
