I know you thought you had fixed this yesterday, but it seems to still be doing it, i attempted to attach a new wheel to the front of our pickup truck and it didn't register the fact that i had, status of the truck didn't change but the wheel was gone from my inventory.

Refueling seems to be somewhat bugged too, here's a video http://youtu.be/9092EwABINk. When coffmad tried refuelling the truck it didn't register the fuel being put in, but when i fuelled it up afterwards (didn't record that part) it registered it

Thanks for the info dude, I'll do some testing in the test server tonight and try and get to the bottom of what could be causing it. Should hopefully be fixed within the next day or two.

For how many days roughly have you been noticing the issue?

we had the fuel bug happen to us last saturday just after we battled you seaweed, first i had seen of it.

hmm interesting not really sure what change has caused it then, hopefully I just need to a software update will start investigating it tonight

we've been noticing it since wednesday, i attempted to repair other parts of the car just now, tried 2 fuel tank parts and some scrap metal, none did anything.

Can't test after you fix it now though.... as i accidentally drove over a rock, our car is gone now

Made a fair few changes tonight which should hopefully help this, I was having problems replicating it in my testing but I did see the problem once whilst refueling.

I made a load of changes to some of the loot spawn code and also the the cinematic login which should hopefully stop it. I didn't have time to test completely but I didn't see it happen again in the 5 or so refuels and repairs I did after making the updates.

Will keep an eye on it this weekend definitely let me know if you are still seeing the same thing.

If it helps, it seems to be happening on other servers too since the last update (1.7.6.1) Had the same problem for the parts on other servers. Tried installing parts on a Ural, parts disappeared, no change to the vehicle.

Yeah I had read about the 1.7.6.1 sync problems, there's desync issues in general with this patch which can cause some really weird shit. Most players will be syncd with the db but sometimes people fall completely out of sync for long periods.

There are still things I can do server side to stop it happening so often, at least until there is another patch.

i managed to fix two wheels on a offroad (white) today, so hopefully its fixed now , i couldn't test the refuelling because i couldn't find any jerry cans...

I also read this today on a Reality bug report



So there may be a solution to the bug if it is still happening

Edit: Yep confirmed as a DayZ bug, should be fixed next patch least you know what causes it now
